Wie wäre es zum Mars zu fliegen?
Das ist die Aufgabe von Ianthes Vater, er ist einer der ersten Astronauten, die zum Mars fliegen dürfen.
Das Cover ist einfach der Wahnsinn, so wunderschön!!!
Auch der Klappentext ist interessant und macht Lust zum lesen, weshalb es bei mir einziehen durfte.
Leider war ich dann doch sehr enttäuscht.
Wir erfahren viel von Ianthes Leben, doch mir ist das alles zu kühl und es hat zu wenig mit der Mars Mission ihres Vaters zu tun.
Für mich haben viele Informationen gefehlt, die ich zwar weiß, aber das heißt ja nicht, das es jeder weiß, was bei einer anstehenden Mars Mission auf die Astronauten zu kommt. Und auch sonst, hätte ich mir mehr Fakten über Astronomie und Raumfahrt gewünscht.
Desweiteren, wie oben erwähnt, kamen für mich die Gefühle bei Ianthe nicht wirklich raus. Ich hatte oft das Gefühl, dass sie es nicht besonders mitnimmt, dass ihr Vater zum Mars fliegt und vielleicht nie wieder kommt. Es schien ihr relativ egal. Ich konnte mich absolut nicht mit ihr identifizieren und es blieb auch die ganze Zeit eine gewisse Distanz zu ihr. Man erfuhr, wie schon gesagt, zwar einiges aus ihrem Leben, aber ich konnte keine keine Bindung zu ihr aufbauen. Sehr schade, ich hatte mich so auf das Buch gefreut.

Conclusion:
How about going to Mars? That’s the job of Ianthe’s father, he is one of the first astronauts allowed to fly to Mars. The cover is just amazing, so beautiful !!! The blurb is also interesting and makes you want to read, which is why it was allowed to move in with me. Unfortunately I was very disappointed after all. We learn a lot about Ianthe’s life, but it’s all too boring and cold for me and has too little to do with her father’s Mars mission. For me, a lot of information was missing that I do know, but that doesn’t mean that everyone knows what the astronauts will face on an upcoming Mars mission. And otherwise, I would have liked more facts about astronomy and space travel. Furthermore, as mentioned above, Ianthe’s feelings didn’t really come out for me. I often had the feeling that she wasn’t particularly upset that her father flies to Mars and maybe never comes back. She didn’t seem to care. I couldn’t identify with her at all, and there was a certain distance to her all the time. As I said, you learned a lot about her life, but I couldn’t establish a bond with her. It’s a shame, I was so looking forward to the book.
